stitches

You know when you get to the point of a project were you have two choices... The easy way or the hard way, and in a burst of psychosis you choose the hard way even though they easy way isn't worse, it's just not traditional... Yea, maybe shouldn't hand sew all of the top stitching... But I've committed now so this will be the reason I never finish this quilt... Also, I'm making a quilt. Actually more a quilt cover , and it's for a body pillow so it's not as big as a quilt... But totally the same thing.

The range of favourites definitely goes right to left, also not shown is a canon G11, a Polaroid I almost never have film for and an Agfa that needs a little work figuring out. (And the iPhone camera used to take this photo…)

It's my day off, so I am scanning film and doing all of the cleaning I haven't done all week. This was shot near the end of my first photo class, probably had a few shots left on the film to kill.

Brief trip the summer of 2010 to Charlotte, NC. This collection has some of my favourite photos (still) so more will be up later, maybe even a whole album. 

my day off

My to do list includes laundry, dishes and updating my resume, but instead I am scanning the binder of film from my first year at NSCAD. It's been almost 4 years since I looked at most of these photos, so it's amusing to see what I thought was photo worthy when I first held a 35mm camera. (please ignore dust spots, thats on my to do list as well)
